Primary school:

Deputy head girls – Ntokozo Ngwenya and Noster Nyamadzawo

Congratulations to the learners and their parents. My wish for them is that they will have a wonderful year as learner leaders of the school.

School Count

We have been blessed and can proudly announce that we have 413 learners in the primary school and 463 learners in the high school. We have opened up another Gr6 and Gr7 class because of the growth of these groups.

Please make sure that all learners do attend school every day. If they cannot attend, please inform the teacher on the same day.

I want to challenge the parents to see if we can have a 100% attendance for at least one day. It is disturbing to see that there are always learners absent.

Another disturbing aspect is the late coming of the learners. The learners must be in their register classes at 7:45, and the first period starts at 8:00. The disturbing fact is that Β± 90 learners are coming late every morning and most of the time it is the same learners, and also those who travel with their parents. Please can we be on time at the school. Every morning they are late they get D merits for late coming.

ASSESSMENT

We are in week six of assessment. Please make sure your child is well prepared for each assessment. Previously we experienced that learners did not study for the weekly test that they wrote. The dates are indicated on the term 1 assessment plan. Please encourage your child to put in a serious effort to study for these tests.

  • If absent due to illness. A valid medical certificate must be handed in or emailed to the office.
  • If absent without excuse or making a valid arrangement, a nil (0%) will be given for the assessment.

  • Please make sure that your child arrives at school wearing a mask.

No Buffs or Scarfs will be accepted as a mask. Only 3 ply cloth masks and surgical masks are acceptable.

If your personal details, like e-mail, phone numbers or address have changed please inform the school of this, that we can update our records.

Accounts have been emailed today and you can also find a copy in your child’s bag. Please ensure that accounts are brought up to date without delay and that you visit the finance office without delay should you find that your account needs rectification.
